Roots around contemporary humans can express their concerns about immigration: An immigration that has never happened. I -as a citizen in the east part of the world and, like many people living in it- have been surrounded and wrapped around by the roots asking me to stay. These roots indicate my ties and belongings to this land. Staying and living in the Middle East lands and getting into its troubles and misfortunes are inherently a kind of activism.
In another layer, this project refers to the body as the contemporary human body. It is a complicated body among the roots of belongings, being busily concerned with ordinary matters. Therefore, bodies of performers during the project are considered as bodies being mixed with belongings and being surrounded by the roots spreading over their bodies.
Also, home as a homeland is considered a special place for carrying out the project.
